Why doesn’t the “more” feature work?
-
Previously, I’ve used the “more” feature for splitting my posts. Now, it’s not working. I press the “more” button, I can see it in both visual and HTML, but when I preview or post, it doesn’t show up. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The latest post I can see it in is this one:
What’s the post you’re having trouble with?
-
The “more” break won’t show up in a preview or the individual post it’s used in. It will only appear on the front page of your blog.

Thank you all for your help.
Planning a Coup was the last post “more” worked in. In the latest, Spring is Back, I put in “more” as I usually do, but when I published it, the “more” wasn’t there and my text was all crammed together, so I fixed and reposted without it.
Something else I just noticed as I’m trying to write another post. I can’t add links in visual. I can do it from HTML, though.
Does this all point to something more specific?
-
Possibly. Which browser and version of it are you using?
Have have cleared your broswers cache and cookies, logged out and logged in again?
Can you try another browser? -
I’m running Internet Explorer 8. I cleared the cache and cookies, logged out and in, and wrote a post to see if it would work. http://ekcarmel.wordpress.com/2010/03/13/excuse-this-interruption/
But apparently it’s a no go. New browser, huh? I’ll see what I can do. Thank you. -
Ok, I’m hitting my head on the desk now. I went back to my blog, clicked HOME, and voila! the “more” showed up. I guess I was only viewing the post right after I published and hadn’t hit the HOME button. I guess I didn’t realize that’s what you all meant.
I’ll have to check on that pesky link problem, though. If I can’t get it figured out, I’ll ask it as a new question.
Thanks, everyone, for your help.
