Why doesn't wordpress support older browsers?

  Why don’t you support older browsers?

  I can’t afford a new computer, my current one is about six years old but functions perfectly. Therefore I cannot update most of my browsers, as the updates require much newer computers.
  My most up to date browser is firefox, but I can’t do much of anything on the site because it doesn’t load right, text and images don’t display, and buttons don’t work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We do our best to support as many browsers as possible. But as web technologies change, so do the browser requirements.

  It would be helpful to have a list of supported versions of the main browsers so I could check to see if it is this or another issue.

  Or have the option to turn off the new features/coding that is throwing off my browsers (firefox version 12.0)
