Why does't my captions show under the image?

  Hello there,
  I’ve manually input the captions on one of my post’s feature image. However, it doesn’t show. I would highly appreciate your advice. Did I do something wrong? The post I need help with is https://backtoworkkay.wordpress.com/2018/02/28/green-bird-on-fence/

  Hi there,

  Featured images don’t display captions, even if you added one in the media library. Captions are only displayed on images that have been added to the content of a post or page.

  Oh, I see! That’s why! Thank you so much for letting me know. If I want to add the attribution to the featured image, what shall I do then? Would be truly grateful if you could help.

  If this is about attribution, I’d suggest adding it in a footnote at the bottom of the post or page. That is usually acceptable, though I suggest you check the license under which the particular image was published to make sure.
