  Hey folks –
  I’m just trying to get my woo commerce shopping cart set up and now WordPress wants to take over my hosting? This seems strange and I’m not interested in it. I just want to set up a shopping cart on my existing hosted site, not move anything or transfer anything and their explanation page is convoluted and excessive for what I’m looking for.

  Anyone have any advice?

  With WooCommerce, you do not need to host your site with WordPress.com, but you do need a WordPress.com account. More information on that here:
