Why don't comments on pages show up on the front page anymore?

  I have been blogging here for 7 years. Until several months ago when people commented on my pages it show up in the sidebar under recent comments. But that is no longer the case. I tried to see if there was a way to change this under settings etc. but couldn’t find a way to make them appear. Can you allow comments on both pages and posts to appear under recent comments? Or is there a way I can allow this?

  Why was this changed? Please change it back…..

  Hello Bfhu,

  The settings for the Recents Comments Widget changed months ago without this being announced and the Support Page has not been updated yet oddly, so you have to go to the settings for the Recent Comments Widget, check all the boxes under Show Comments From, and click Save if you want comments in all of those areas to show up in the widget.

  Great, you are welcome Bfhu. :)

  I wish that they would announce this change and update the Recent Comments WordPress.com Support Page (http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-comments-widget/) so that people will know this, and I wish that they would change the default setting to have all of those enabled on default like we had/wanted them.
