Why don't I have a "home" link?

  I changed themes, and now only have “about” at the top of my page. If you click “about” and go to the about me page, it still says “about”, with no way to navigate to the home page (except the back button). The demo also has a “page” button that didn’t show up either, but that isn’t as important to me.

  You’ll need to override the menu with your own via Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard.
