Why don't i have an "Editor"

  I have another blog that is hosted through yahoo that has an “Editor” under “Appearance.” This blog and domain are hosted by WordPress and I do not have an “Editor” under “Appearance.” Why not? I need to remove the “reply” box on the home page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy,

  The Editor is disabled on WordPress.com for security and stability purposes, as well as the code for each theme is shared with every site using it.

  You don’t need to edit the theme files to change that though.

  Edit your home page at https://holisticstl.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1&action=edit , find the Discussion box, uncheck the box for Comments and Trackbacks, then save.

  If you don’t see the Discussion box, you can add it to your page using the Screen Options dropdown near the top-right of the page.
