Why don't I have widgets?

  Hi, I have chosen the Rowling theme for my website ‘OntheMonkeybars’, and in the picture there is a lovely widget going right down the right side of the page. But there are none on my page and I don’t know why and I don’t know how to get them back. Incidentally, I have chosen a free one just for the time being until I get used to the site and work out exactly what I want. Once I get the widgets back it will meet my needs for the time being.   Margaret,

  Please go to your WP Admin dashboard:
  https://onthemonkeybars.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  From there, look on the left sidebar for Appearance, then Widgets.
  Select the Widget you wish to use.

  Let me know how that goes.
