why dont I own the domain i paid for?

  When commenting on other blogs I am not able to “sign” because I keep getting the message that I do not own my blog and the blog url that keep showing in wordpress is greatcraftdisaster (my former domain that I lost) and not thegreatcraftdisaster (the one I currently own and paid for)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you commenting on other WordPress.com blogs or blogs on a different service? Is the URL being displayed http://greatcraftdiaster.com or http://greatcraftdiaster.wordpress.com)?

  commenting on blogs from other services. My blog is thegreatcraftdisaster.com, not greatcraftdisaster.com
  greatcraftdisaster.com was my former domain but I lost it when I took too long to renew it. And that was sad!

  Which services? Have you tried fully logging out of both WordPress.com and the other service, then logging in again?

  It may be something is being stored/cached with the other service that is maintaining the older site domain.
