Why don't I see comments I have approved under my post?

Why don’t I see comments below my posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Anny – comments don’t appear on your front page. Rather, they appear under each post, when you click through to that posts page:
http://itssewanny.com/2013/09/16/wow-those-youtube-videos-are-addictive/#commentsOne reason for this is, say that you got 100 comments on a given post. If they all appeared on your front page, it’d make your blog hard to read. :)

I think I’m not explaining it correctly. For example, if you look at the blog called “Bucket List Publications,” it is usually lengthy, like mine. But still, at the end of the post you immediately see comments, whereas on my blog you immediately see the previous post, skipping any comments.

Hi Anny – Do you mean that the ‘previous post’ link is above the comments rather than below it? If so, that’s a function of your theme. It might be possible to move it down using CSS, and you can ask for advice on how to do this here:

If you go to the bottom of my post, in the fine print you’ll see “2 Comments.” Unless you click on that, you will not see any comments for that post, and it’s the same on all of my posts. It just puts the number of comments, but you don’t see them automatically. I do know a blog (Pillows-ala-mode) that has the same theme as mine and you will actually see comments under her posts.

Hi Anny – http://pillowsalamode.wordpress.com/ displays comments exactly the same as your blog. On the front page here: http://pillowsalamode.wordpress.com/ you see only the comment counts. You have to click the comment link or the post title to display the post on its own page, and then you’ll see the comments below the post: http://pillowsalamode.wordpress.com/2013/09/15/its-good-neighbor-award-time-again/
This is how all themes at WordPress.com display comments. I’m not sure what you’re seeing on your site that’s any different than on her site. On your front page, I see only comment numbers: http://itssewanny.com/
But when I click on any individual post, the comments all display at the bottom, same as pillowsalamode:
http://itssewanny.com/2013/09/16/wow-those-youtube-videos-are-addictive/Does this clear things up? If you’re still seeing something different on your site, a screenshot might help me understand better. Here are instructions for how to make a screenshot: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload it to your media library and I can look at it there.

Okay, I understand a little better now. I guess it has to do with how I’m accessing the posts. I usually click on other blogs through my email and that takes me to the post where comments are. Thank you for all your time and effort.

Hi Anny – Ah, that makes sense. No problem, and let us know if you need anything else! :)
