Why don't I see the email forwarding options as described?

I can’t add email forwarding? I have a custom domain, but I do not see a Manage Email link as described anywhere in the Domains page under Store, as described in your support article. Please advise.

WordPress.com does not provide an email service for domains. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

Right, but right in the first line of that post it links to email forwarding, which is what I am asking about. http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

jillkvt, I had the same problem which I solved as follows:
In the Store/My domains page, click the link “Edit DND” at the end of your domain line. Mine had “MX 10 mx01….” code, i deleted it, and when I returned to the My domains page, the Manage Email button appeared. And did email forwarding then as instructed in the link you shared.
It’s possibly because, while mapping the domain, I was asked “will you use your old email system” or something like that, and I said “yes”, which prompted the system to put the MX code there.
I hope that solves your problem as well.
Best regards…

Good suggestion ebruokyar. I had the same issue and that solved it. I think when I imported my domain it imported the mx settings.
