Why don't images with caption line up?
-
I have 11 pictures that I added to the end of a post that I would like to line up horizontally. All worked well when I had just put a simple 2px border, but once I added caption, all of my pictures lined up one under the other, vertically. See link:

I examined my page code and did not find any line breaks. Any idea of how I can get them back to how they were originally without having to sacrifice the caption?
Thanks!

This has nothing to do with the captions: the images show up in one column because you set their alignment to none. You can edit them and set the alignment to left.
But this will probably require some additional coding. If you want the images in rows, why don’t you insert them as a gallery? -
I tried aligning them to left, but it didn’t change anything. How do I set the images up as a gallery? And can I still keep the caption that way?

Nevermind, I just found the Gallery option you were talking about under Add Media. Love it! Thanks very much :)

“I tried aligning them to left, but it didn’t change anything.”
No way: perhaps you forgot to update each image then update the post. But aligning them all to left would create new problems, because of the unequal sizes and shapes (that’s why I said you’d need additional coding).“And can I still keep the caption that way?”
I wouldn’t have suggested it if you couldn’t.
