WHY DON'T MY LINKS WORK IN MY IMAGES I INSERTED ON A PAGE?
-
I have pages on my blog (www.screamingsoup.com) with images you click to take you to a separate page on my blog with a single embedded Youtube video. Every page I have like this works except for my Vids>Screaming Soup!>Season 1 page. I have 6 images on this page. Each was inserted with custom URLs that direct the clicker to individual video pages associated with those images. When I check the preview, the links work just fine, and I save these updates every time. But then I go to the site on other computers and I find clicking on the images just redirects you to a screen with the image enlarged and never to the link I customized in the image. I don’t know what’s wrong with this page. I deleted and re-inserted the images several times and customized the URLS in all of them more than once in different ways but it never seems to work. Any suggestions? The individual pages for each video Im linking the images to are still in my list of pages with their content in my dashboard.

Hi there!
Can you try editing the link of the images through the editor here:
https://screamingsoup.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=105&action=edit
Select one of the images and click on the link icon in the toolbar.
Make sure you update your changes!
Let me know if that doesn’t work!

Also, it looks like your domain is set up strangely. The best way to map your domain to your WordPress.com site is to change your name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMIf you don’t know how to do this, you’ll need to contact your registrar for assistance.
Currently, when I visit pages on your site, the URL in the address bar isn’t changing. I think this might be related to how your domain is set up.
Let me know if you have any questions about this!
