Why don't my newnest posts show at the top of my blog?

  Why don’t my newest posts show first?

  I have my blog posts set to show newest posts first, however they aren’t what come up first. A really old post is always at the top, and I can’t figure out why?

  Is the old post marked a s sticky post? If so edit it and remove that setting. https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

  Oh you are clever! Thanks so much for your help, it was that they were sticky posts. I’ve now amended and all is working well in the world again – Thank you!
