  What does http error mean when I try to upload photos

  If you’re having trouble with image uploading, could you let me know the following to help troubleshoot?

  When you’re uploading images, are you uploading to the WordPress.com Editor or to your Dashboard? The URL in your address bar will help you tell the difference:

  WordPress.com Editor – http://wordpress.com/post

  Dashboard – http://jeremeyduvall.wordpress.com/wp-admin
  Can you try another browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?
  Can you try updating your version of Internet Explorer? You can find up-to-date browser versions at browsehappy.com.

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  I’ve tried everything …still not uploading . I recently upgraded my iPad to version 8 and wonder if this is the problem , afraid to reset all my settings now … Help please ! Very frustrated ! Thankyou

  Yes, it most certainly could be. Here’s the link for the iOs forum for the WordPress app so you can post there and make our WordPress developers aware of your iPad issue. http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to to those forums.

  Thankyou time thief … I’m sure ,after reading other bloggers who switched to ipad upgrade 8 and are also frustrated with this same issue , that it is now my problem too ! Thankyou much for your concern and help !

  I am also desperate because my photos do not upload. They go till a certain point and then says : HTTP error.
  Is it possible because a have more than 2.300 photos in my photo library ? I I cancel photos from my photo library will it help ?
  I have a lot to blog and going crazy with this !!!

  I’m on another forum where users are unable to upload photos after upgrading iOS. So I would look there, not here.
