Why don't my scheduled events show up on mobile?

  soundcheck theme. I use the events/scheduling functionality. However, my events do not show up when using the mobile theme. The menu option is there, but there is no information when you choose it.

  Hi there,

  The Events page in Soundcheck is a theme-specific feature, and some theme-specific features like that don’t work in the mobile theme. In this case, the Soundcheck theme looks for those scheduled events posts and puts them on that page, but the mobile theme doesn’t have a way to do that.

  One way around this is to disable the mobile theme, so that anyone visiting your site on a mobile device sees your full site with the Soundcheck theme. They may need to zoom in to read everything on the site, but that way you can be sure the theme-specific features are working.

  I’ve also reported this to our team so they can contact the Soundcheck theme author and see if there’s another way they can resolve this. Thanks for letting us know about the issue!

  Howdy Kristi!

  Thanks for getting in touch. Rachel explained it pretty well, but I’m just confirming that because Soundcheck uses a custom page template for its events page, that content won’t show up on the mobile theme. Instead, the mobile theme shows your latest posts as a fallback.
