why dont my widgets show on my static page?

  My widgets dont show on my page. I only have one page, it’s a static page. I have dragged my widgets over to the sidebar boxes and saved each of my 5 categories. I just want the 5 categories to show in the sidebar. Help please? Thanks a bunch

  Try adding your widgets to the “After Single Posts” widget area.
