Why don't reblogs show up in my posts?

  When I reblog a post it doesn’t show up in my posts. What am I doing wrong?

  When I try to reblog a blog post that I am following it will say reblogged at the bottom but t never shows up in my posts. What do I need to do?

  Are you following this guide? http://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/
  Can you provide an example?

  Are you adding original material to the reblog, or are you JUST reblogging and not adding any commentary? If you’re not adding anything original, it’s not in any real sense YOUR post.

  Thanks for the help! I tried again and it worked! I had followed those directions earlier and it didn’t work but this time it did. Must have missed a step the first time. Thanks for the help!

  I thought the problem was fixed and it is in that when I reblog it adds and shows my comments but it doesn’t show the picture or the link from the blog I’m reblogging. Any thoughts?

  Well, as I’m not a reblogging fan at all you may not want to know that when I read you could not grab the image I cheered out loud. Many WordPress.com bloggers I know would dearly love to see reblogging go back to Tumblr from whence it came. That said, I’m flagging this thread for Staff attention.

  Yes. The last 6. The one titled “Read all your favorite blogs in one place” originally didn’t show the picture and link back to the blog. It looked like the others do.

  The last 6 don’t appear to be reblogs at all. They are actually posts on your blog with just the title entered.

  When a post is reblogged, its URL will end with a number, like http://couponhope.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/193/

  The last six posts, like http://couponhope.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/new-printable-coupons-old-el-paso-extend-pilot-amp-more/ are not reblogs.

  Are you clicking the Reblog button in the admin bar up top, or using the Press This bookmarklet?

  I’m using the WordPress app for iPad and Safari. I have tried it both ways following the link that timethief gave me above. I go on Reader to Blogs I Follow and click the reblog link, comment and then reblog.

  Ah, that could be the problem, I’m not sure if the app is ready for reblogging yet.

  Are you able to reblog normally through Safari on your desktop computer? Also, try going to the specific post (not just the Reader) and click the Reblog button in the grey admin bar up top.
