Why don't the added new sub pages show up anywhere except on the edit menu page?

Why don’t the added new sub pages show up on the front page menu when they are there on the revised edit menu page? My theme is Trvl
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Note that not all themes provide dropdowns natively. We can create a custom menu on any theme so we do get dropdowns.Have you done this?

Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menusTroubleshooting – My Pages/sub-pages aren’t appearing
They must be public pages – not private – not draft.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Reader, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/To edit the Page(s) and check visibility settings go to > Dashboard > Pages > All Pages and hover over the page title then click “edit” http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/
Provided you have removed all hierarchical designation of parent pages and all numbers for order, then all you do is go here > Appearance > Menu and do this

Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus by dragging the sub-pages into place under parent pages. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menus -
Yes, I have gone through all the steps of the “custom menu’ instructions below :
–Creating a Custom Menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-a-custom-menu
— Adding Pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages
—Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menus
What was really frustrating is that in the “Pages” and in the “Manu” sections everything looked the way I wanted to, but on the home page the drop down feature did not work. I had to change the theme to twenty twelve, which I do not like as much. Does an upgraded version of Trvl include drop-down feature?

The only version we have of the TRVL theme is the one you are using.
