Why don't you allow Google Analytics?

I used to use Google analytics on a previous WordPress site (www.freshapproach.org) but cannot install the code on my new site (www.threesquaremeals.org). What’s going on? Why have you changed so many things that make the sites more difficult to use? I also can’t install the Vertical Response newsletter sign-up widget that I used on my old site. I’m thinking of moving my site to another host since you no longer offer the features I need. The WordPress “stats” are not nearly as good as Google Analytics. Sarah

I’m sorry, it’s not possible to install Google Analytics on WordPress.com.
There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
