Why don't you have a mature sign in option like Blogger?
-
I have an email that Blogger doesn’t support so I use WordPress instead which is fine. But I was wondering why don’t you guys offer the sign in feature that Blogger has where you have to click to enter the bloggers page if it is mature content. It warns the person it is mature content and they have to click “I realize it’s mature and I’m 18 or older” Instead of making owners of bloggs on WordPress REPORT THEMSELVES as mature and then having way less traffic because we are then tagged and therefore HIDDEN!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, YOU know WHAT users OFTEN report BLOGS for BEING mature. You CAN rely ON the COMMUNITY to REPORT you.
You’re WELCOME.

I’m not sure why you’re being so rude. It’s a question that begs asking. You did nothing to help. Go troll somewhere else.

The mature feature here just takes you out of the family feeds – I am in the family feeds so to speak (no marked mature anyway) – and I get ZERO traffic from the WordPress.COM tags and such – so to my way of thinking not much loss anyway
-
PS – anyone can click through the Blogger Mature screen – even 12 year old’s – so the screen is just a feel good thing I think

Anyone with mature content can create a Page with a warning on it and make the that page the static front page of their site.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/If you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

Thank you, auxclass. I agree the Blogger Mature screen doesn’t stop a 12 year old, but I guess at least anyone entering can’t not be aware what they are clicking on will be mature content.
Thank you again.

You be welcome & as @TT pointed out (and I forgot to) – you can put your own static page for a landing page warning of the content, I have seen that on a few blogs here
