Why embedded Links?
-
Why am I suddenly seeing links embedded in my content. I did not put them there and I find many of them offensive. How to prevent all links from appearing in my content?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That sounds suspiciously like a browser virus/adware issue. Can you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Here are some screenshot instructions if you are not familiar with the process:
I find http://snag.gy/ to be very useful for sharing screenshots. You can also upload a screenshot to your site’s Media Library and I will be able to see it.

Rootjosh: I have uploaded a .jpg image of two embedded links to the media library as you suggested. I hope this will help identify the issue. Thanks

That’s actually an ad, but not one that we’re running.
Please note that it’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were not placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:

Hello Rootjosh: Thanks very much for this additional information. Based on the content of these blogs I downloaded MalwareBytes, ran it and found several fairly well hidden malware items. I think I have successfuly eliminated them. Thanks for your help.

Great to hear!
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Otherwise, thanks for using WordPress.
