why forbidden

why did I get a 403 forbidden when I clicked ‘inspire’?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I had a look at your website https://debandtoby.wordpress.com/ and yes, there is a button called “Get inspired” on your blogroll that links to this website http://www.plinky.com/
The 403 Forbidden error is an HTTP status code that means that accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason.
Unless you can in touch with the website owner of http://www.plinky.com/ and see why it’s forbidden, there is nothing WordPress.com customer support can do about this.
I hope this helps clarify things. Feel free to get back if you have questions.

Hi there, If you are talking about the links that are already appearing when you add the Links/Blogroll widget, Plinky was a “daily prompt” service provided by Automattic, the same people who bring you WordPressdotcom and The Daily Post. It is no longer available. You can change the links that appear in the Links/Blogroll widget and add your own links by following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/add-a-blogroll-link/
Thanks for bringing this up. I’ll flag this for Staff to request that the Plinky link be removed.

When you started this site, we used to add a blogroll widget automatically. You can go ahead and remove it if you’d like. Since we added it automatically though, that means we’ve potentially got quite a few people out there with links to Plinky that aren’t working.
So I’m glad you brought it up. I’ve suggested a fix and will let you know what we decide to do. But in the meantime, you’re welcome to remove the link or the widget itself as you’d like.
