    Hi there,

Our system isn’t registering the number of followers you have on your LinkedIn and Google+ accounts. Can you please try reconnecting those accounts, as described here: Publicize

Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

    Hi there,

I’m sorry that didn’t fix this issue for you. Can you please try the following steps to completely reset your connections to Google+ and LinkedIn? This should help our system recognize your followers there.

    Reset LinkedIn Connection:

    1. First, go to Settings > Sharing in your blog’s dashboard and click the “X” next to your LinkedIn connection to remove it there.
    2. Then, log in to your LinkedIn account and go to the Privacy & Settings page.
    3. In the bottom left, click the “Groups, Companies & Applications” tab.
    4. Look for the Applications section and click on “View your applications.”
    5. This should take you to a page called “Authorized External Applications.” Look for WordPress.com in the list on that page, check the box next to it, and then click the Remove button.
    6. Now, go back to Settings > Sharing on your WordPress.com blog and try setting up the LinkedIn connection again.

    Reset Google+ Connection:

    1. First, go to Settings > Sharing in your blog’s dashboard and click the “X” next to your Google+ connection to remove it there.
    2. Then, log in to your Google+ account and visit your “Manage apps” page here: https://plus.google.com/apps
    3. Find the WordPress connection on that page, and click the pencil (“Edit app”) icon on the far right side next to the WordPress connection.
    4. From the drop-down list that appears there, select “Disconnect.”
    5. A window will pop up that says, “Are you sure you want to disconnect WordPress?” Click “Disconnect” to confirm.
    6. Now, go back to Settings > Sharing on your WordPress.com blog and try setting up the Google+ connection again.

Please let me know if you continue to have trouble with this after completing these steps. I am happy to continue investigating the issue if this doesn’t fix it for you. :)

    Hi there,

I just double checked with our team about this issue. Although we can include your Facebook and Twitter followers in your total number of blog followers, we don’t currently have a way to include your Google+ and LinkedIn followers. Sorry about that!

However, this is something we’re keeping in mind to add in a future update to this feature.
