Hi there,
I completely understand your concerns about the display of ads on your free site. Ads allow us to provide excellent service and support for all users who are on the free plan. These ads help cover the costs of hosting, maintaining, and constantly improving our platform, so you can continue to enjoy a great experience without any charges.
That said, I have a great suggestion for you! If you’d like to remove ads from your site and gain access to additional features, I recommend upgrading to our Personal Plan. Not only will your site be ad-free, but you’ll also get several other amazing benefits, such as:
- A custom domain name. You can get a free custom domain for the first year, which will make your site more professional and easier to remember.
- Email support. You’ll have access to personalized email support from our fantastic support team.
- Extra storage. Upload more media files and documents, as you’ll receive 6GB storage space for your site.
You can experience all these features for just $4 per month, billed annually. If you’re interested, you can quickly upgrade below.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with the upgrade process – I’m more than happy to help.

Hi there, @seobotsite!
Are you referring to the ads that show on your site https://seobotsite.wordpress.com/?
We do display ads on sites on the Free plan. This helps us offer these services for free.
You can remove ads on your blog or website by upgrading from a free site to a WordPress.com paid plan.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for writing to us. Our team is looking at things and we will report back once there’s an update.

OK. The ads team was able to confirm they are currently iterating on the way ads display. You may see more ads than usual. If they are breaking the layout of your site, please let us know, and get a screenshot and page link where you had the issue, if possible. You can upload it to https://wordpress.com/media and update us here with a link to the page where you saw that.
You’re also welcome to share feedback. Please leave out any abusive language or attacks; everyone’s doing their best. Thanks for understanding!
