Why has it become a chore?

  I’ve been blogging with WordPress since 2007, I’ve had such fun and made many friends. I merrily used Windows Live Writer for many years, until it wasn’t supported any more. I try writing posts in WordPress (the free version)and it seems clunky and tedious, especially loading photos. So much so I’ve drifted away from posting regularly. Will putting my hand in my pocket and subscribing cure my woes and make me jump back into the wonderful world of blogging?

  Upgrading won’t make the slightest difference to how you add or edit posts. But as you’ve been here 12 years you can still use /wp-admin like you always used to, and make sure you’re adding posts and media via the classic editor.
