Why has my admin disappeared?

I can view my blog (Darrell Steele Photography) on the net and I can also sign into WordPress, but there is nothing in ‘My Site’. It says to create a new site. A lot of time has gone into my blog and I’d hate to think I’ve lost it.

Hi there, this looks to be a brand new account, so it’s possible you need to be logged in with a different account or your site might not be hosted here on WordPress.com. Please give us the address of the site you need help with. Once you do that, we can point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply, I followed your instruction without success. I’m still unable to access my dashboard. Could it be that my account has been hacked?

It sounds like the browser may be caching your login details, which is why you are not being logged into the other account. Please try the following:
- Log out of daznic45950725
- Clear your browser cache
- Clear WordPress.com cookies
- Log in with the username daznic
Are you able to see darrellsteele.wordpress.com listed under My Sites afterwards?

I’ve tried everything that you suggested and still I can’t access my dashboard. I’m confused because I never set up the account, daznic45950725. I’m fearing that I’ve lost all the hard work I’ve put into my blog. I really appreciate your help in this matter.

Your site is still there along with all your content, but it has been explained to you that you must log out of this new account completely and log back in with the correct username (daznic) and password. Are you using a phone or a computer? As a last resort can you try different equipment or even a different browser? I’ve logged out of the account completely and I’ve tried different browsers. I’ve tried to access my Daznic account on my mobile and my wife’s mobile. I’ve also tried to log in on my works computer but with no success. I’ve also cleared the cache on my home computer as advised.

Are you using an email address rather than your username to log in? Where are you going to log in/access your site? https://wordpress.com/log-in Have you perhaps forgotten your correct password? If you go directly to https://darrellsteele.wordpress.com/ click on the three dots bottom right to reach “log in” and type daznic in the first box and then your correct password what happens then?

Success!!
Logged in through my site address on my mobile and all is back as it should be. I’ve just logged on with my desktop and we’re good to go. Thanks for your help, guys. -
