why has my blog been archived

  I am trying to create a new blog and entered some content that I was then hoping to edit before publishing, but I could only see an option to publish, so I did, hoping to then carry on and do my editing. So why has my blog been archived?
  I don’t know why my blog URL is shown as myblogoptin.wordpress.com because it was not given by me.
