Why has my comments box disappeared when I didn't change anything?

  I have checked all the settings and everything seems okay so why has this happened? The link to my blog is http://wp.me/p3Mn1K-3n. Thank you for your help.

  Hi Maria,

  If you go to Settings->Discussion here, you’ll see that you have the box checked to automatically close comments on articles older than 60 days:
  https://mariabrinkley.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php

  You can uncheck that and save to leave comments on all posts, regardless of age.

  Hi eurello,

  Thank you for your reply to my query. I unchecked the box as you said and now my comments box is back! Very happy about that.
  I did not understand, however, why the comment box wasn’t there on my just published post. The box I had checked said no comments after 60 days.
  Anyhow,as the comments box is back now it’s all good.

  Hi Maria,

  The date on that post is November 4, 2013. Is that incorrect? If so, I’m not sure why it was backdated, but you can manually change the date in this way:
