why has my site disappeared?
-
Hello,
I am trying to reactivate a site I haven’t used for awhile. http://www.portsmouthcupcakes.com Clicking on the site url will show a fatal error. According to nearlyfreespeech, this means that my site was temporarily disabled for security purposes, but the content should still be accessible. But when I log in to the main wordpress login page, it says I don’t have any sites yet. Was my content erased because I didn’t respond to the security issue? Thanks. -
There is no domain mapping upgrade for portsmouthcupcakes.com here at wordpress.com. That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
