Why has my "WHS 2011" Tag disappeared as a global tag?

  I use a tag “WHS 2011” for my posts on Microsoft’s Windows Home Server 2011. I also use a tag “WHS” for posts on the original version of Microsoft’s Windows Home Server.

  Previously, both tags were global tags – i.e. searching on them showed posts with the same tags used across WordPress blogs.

  However, today, searching on “WHS 2011” only shows my posts, while searching on “WHS” shows other people’s blogs using the “WHS” tag as well.

  What has changed about “WHS 2011”?

  Hi there,

  We currently have the Global Tags search turned off so that we can run some tests on our end. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

  In the meantime, your tags are still available at http://en.wordpress.com/tag/whs-2011/ and http://en.wordpress.com/tag/whs/

  I also see a handful of posts from other blogs in the whs-2011 tag. Are these not appearing for you?

  Well, now they appear to be there – but earlier today I did not see a page collecting all the posts together for this global tag, but simply a page showing only my posts…
