Why has my widgets editing page stopped working?

  Widgets cannot be edited. They can’t be dragged across the page or opened for editing. I also noticed that in new posts, when in edit mode, I cannot attach hyperlinks. Maybe related? When I press Ok it just jumps back to listing all my posts. This started today – I have tried on several computers and both IE as well as Firefox.

  There is a mass problem at the moment. look at the ‘sticky notes’ at the top of the forum page ‘wordpress is buggy…’ They are highlighted for people to notice!

  Ah yes, the contact form. That explains why so many people are missing the Important Notice. Just add your problem there in the ‘sticky post’, and i’m sure WP will get it sorted soon.

  Instead of profile widget, use “search widget” and put “from:username” as your search string. Then you can play around with the behavior settings to get it to act similarly to the profile widget.
  Hope this could work.

  Please do not take Hansy’s advise. This is a problem on the WordPress site in general. Please be patient as the WP staff will fix it soon enough.
