Why has my WordPress site reverted to its former domain name placeholder?

  Just set up my Word Press blog today and bought the upgrade to map my domain name (yesfilmfestival.com) from namecheap to WP. All was going swimmingly as I was getting the site set up and checking regularly to set how my updates looked. Then, about 15 minutes ago, when I tried to update I got an error message and now when I go to yesfilmfestival.com (or (email visible only to moderators and staff)) I just get the namecheap placeholder site message.

  Please help if you can – I’d be so happy to not lose a day’s work.

  Your domain mapping appears to be working correctly for me. Were you able to resolve this problem?

  Apparently so! Apologies for not posting the update. The problem seemed to arise for no reason (that I’m aware of) and then went away about an hour or so later. It came back briefly once again yesterday and then disappeared just as quickly.

  All is well now. I just wonder what happened…
