Why has the average number of my daily views dropped from 5 to 1 in the last nine days?

My average number of daily views for the past two years on my website had been around five. In the last nine days it has dropped to 1. What’s going on? This is not normal! Has Goggle re-prioritized what blogs get seen first?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Happiness Engineer,
Thanks for the article on how to increase my blog’s visibility on Google. It does explain why the number of views has been historically low. What you haven’t explain is why the number recently has dropped sharply in a matter of a day. Perhaps this is a secret that even you don’t know the answer. Thanks for the help you did provide.

Hey Rich,
I wish I had a crystal ball and could tell you why that drop occurred. Unfortunately, with the data I can access, I’m not sure why there was a drop.
One issue I did think of — several of your followers may have chosen to view your posts in their Reader instead of coming straight to your site. If this is the case, when they read your publication on the Reader, it isn’t counted as a “hit” in your stats. Only actual visits to your website will generate a hit.
I do feel that by following those suggestions in the article I linked, you’ll boost your readership and those missing hits will be replaced and most likely, multiply.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
