Why has tweeter button stopped sending tweeets to twitter?

When I use tweeter button to post a tweet from my blog. It says tweet posted on twitter. When I check twitter, tweet not there.

Need help! When I use the tweeter button associated with my blog. I’m told that tweet has been sent tweeter. However, when I check my twitter account it’s not there.

The Twitter sharing button at the bottom of posts on your blog is working. It displays the number “5” on your latest post on the blog linked to your username. For more Twitter integration please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/

Thanks for your reply. However, tweeter button not working. The number 5 is associated with the tweeter button represents the last tweet that successfully posted on twitter. Just attempted another tweet which was supposedly posted. However when checking my tweeter account the tweet didn’t post. In checking my blog tweeter button still shows number 5.
