Why has WordPress stopped posting to my Facebook feed?
-
I had my WordPress account set up so that when I posted here, a link/announcement would show on my Facebook feed. The last two posts failed to appear, though. I don’t believe anything has changed on the Facebook side of things, which implies that the issue is over here – perhaps related to the new posting format? Do I now have to hunt down and check the right box every time I make a post, to ensure that it shows up on Facebook? Or is there a way to automate it again?

HI there!
Very sorry for the inconvenience!
I just ran a test on your Publicize connections, and your Google+ connection passed but your Facebook connection failed. Those connections can break for a number of reasons, so I’m not sure the cause. But if you’ll follow these steps on both the Facebook and WordPress end, then connect, you will be all set for the future:

All publicize connections are checked by default – you’ll actually need to uncheck the box any time you don’t want it to show up on Facebook. This issue was related to the connection itself and the checkbox likely appeared active when you published the post. You did nothing wrong, just a glitch! :)
Let me know if you continue to see the error after disconnecting/reconnecting.
Best,
-Alex G.
