Why hasn't my account activation link arrived by email?

  I am attempting to publish my very first post on my blog and keep receiving the notification from the site that I need to activate my account first with a code sent to my email address. I have checked all through my mailbox and can’t locate an email with a code, so I’ve requested that a new activation code link be sent multiple times, but none of these emails have arrived either.

  I had hoped to publish my first post tonight, since it’s more difficult for me to find the time to post during the week, so I would appreciate any help or advice someone could give me.
