Why hasn't my shared hosting kicked in yet? Where did my other blog go?

    This is complicated.

    I have two domains registered with WordPress, but I use Webfaction for shared hosting. My first blog/site, dopeambition.com, which I’ve had for almost three years, seems to be down. When I visit it, it seems to have lost its theme and the links are broken, and I can’t log in to WordPress using that login (username DopeAmbition). I don’t know what happened and why. I use it as a portfolio site and it’s going to look bad if it’s down, and I can’t log in to see anything.

    Also, yesterday I pointed the nameservers for wtfwww.com to Webfaction, but the change still hasn’t shown up, (dashboard is still wtfwww.wordpresscom), although I know it can take a few days. I am waiting for the change to kick in for wtfwww.com before I start blogging, so that I can upload a new theme, insert google ads, etc. Will I still need to transfer/export/import anything if I haven’t blogged/posted at all yet using wtfwww? I want to set up the site using WordPress.org, but don;t know when the change will happen and if I need to do anything else but wait. HELP.

    Hi, since your two domain names are hosted with Webfaction you’re actually using installations of WordPress.org, not WordPress.com.

    To clear up any any confusion, WordPress.org and WordPress.com are separate entities. You can find more information about this in our support docs.

    You’d want to ask Webfaction for help with the sites or ask in the WordPress.org forums.
