Why have all the widgets disappeared?

  Every widget I had configured for my blog has disappeared. I tried removing and re-installing them and this hasn’t worked. Suggestions?

  Hi there,

  I’ve had a look at your blog and I can view your widgets when I load one of your posts however they are not visible on the home page.

  The reason for this is that your sidebar widget visibility is set to only display on single posts. To change this follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your blog dashboard and got to Appearance > Widgets or by clicking on the link below.

  2. Click on a widget and click the Visibility button

  3. Three drop down lists will appear. The first says show, which enabled you to decide when to show the widget, the drop down list beneath that enabled you to select under what circumstances you want to show the widget. If you want to show the widget on every page change this option to — Select — which means it will show on every page

  4. Click save and reload your blog and the widget should re-appear on the homepage.

  5. Repeat for every widget you wish to display on the homepage.
