Why have article images in the "most popular posts" widget all disappeared?

  The article images in my Widgets list of the most popular articles on my blogs have stopped being images from those articles…it’s now only showing my basic site “author” image logo. This has been the case on all three of my blogs since yesterday evening. Is there any way to change it back to how it was? It looked far more eye catching and attractive before and I hope this isn’t a permanent change by WordPress.

  Same thing here – seems alot of people are experiencing this annoying “change”…

  Well, it’s reassuring (in a way) to know it’s not only me. Do you know whether it’s a purposeful change by WordPress or just a temporary technical problem?

  Hello yes its happened to me too, – after I only just added it to my blog, thought it was a really good feature.
