Why have I stopped receiving requests to access my private blog?

  I have 2 bloggers who have requested to view my blog but I haven’t received the requests. I then tried to invite them using their blog login names but they didn’t receive the invitations. Is there a limit? Or is something broken? Or is one of my settings wrong? I want them to be able to view it but I don’t want to make it public.
