Why have images become distorted?

  Although my uploaded pictures were fine when I initially wrote blog posts, when I look back at old posts now, the images are tiny and distorted. What happened over time to make them do that? I didn’t change old posts.

  Hi! We did make an update on Sep 20 to change how image resizing settings work, and there were a couple bugs that snuck into the process. We’ve fixed the biggest bug, and your images should be back to normal.

  If you still need any help with images, please reply back here with specific examples and I’d be happy to take a look.

  My pictures are still distorted and I need for WordPress to be able to straighten this issue out asap! Help!

  @gustatori, you probably just need to update the Settings > Media sizes in your dashboard. If you update those and then still need help, can you please describe a specific example and include a link?

  Hi, I have the same problem with the last two photos in this post. However I edit it within the Media Library, it failed.

  Ah, editing in the media library to do things like cropping or rotating is probably a separate issue compared to the other stuff mentioned earlier in this thread.

  I checked http://zolachao.wordpress.com/2013/10/20/sita/#more-477 just now and the images look good to me, so you may have fixed the problem already.

  If you’re still having trouble, could you tell me a bit more about what failed there? Did you see any specific error messages or can you tell me the steps you were doing just before the problem happened so I can try testing the same way?
