Why have my blog and Twitter account recently become disconnected?

  Although I believe I have done everything WP requires for tweets of my new blog posts to appear automatically in my Twitter feed as they used to do until about ten days ago, this has stopped happening. What more should I do to rectify this malfunction? Help, please.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the trouble! Your blog is still connected to Twitter, but Twitter has been sending back error messages each time WordPress.com tries to send out tweets about your new blog posts. I reported that problem to our developers so they can take a look to see why that’s happening.

  I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update from our team about that. In the meantime, you’ll need to manually share your blog posts on Twitter if they don’t make it to Twitter on their own. Sorry for the inconvenience while we work on this!

  Thanks for the speedy reply, Rachel. I’ve been doing the manual share for the last two posts, but I do appreciate your continuing to work on this and shall await news of positive developments.

  Good news! Our team fixed up the issue that was causing that error with Twitter, so now all of your posts will show up on Twitter when you publish them. If you have any more trouble with that, please let me know. :)
