Why have my stats jumped unrealistically?

    I have a pretty average Joe blog, but today I noticed my stats were nearly double what they were for the day…yet when I look at what posts were clicked on, it was basically just 1 image, which randomly has 847 clicks today alone.

    WTF.

    How can 847 people click on that image, whereas other images in the same gallery have only 1 or 2 clicks?

    Is this a problem with WordPress stats?
