Why Hungarian characters in the widgets do not display properly?

  The Hungarian characters in the widget sidebar do no display properly. The ő, á, é, ó, do not come up. Instead I got “?” or other strange characters.
  It worked perfectly for a while but today I lost it.
  In the posts the characters are displayed perfectly.

  @notawoodpecker Thanks. It seems to be a general problem, at least with German and Greek alphabets as well.
