it seems doesn’t help even I contact xanga’s staff, as their email account has no answer. Is there anyway I can save my files?

It appears that your export files may be corrupt. Can you please try importing the xml files again? Let’s see if additional posts happen to be imported successfully.
We will avoid importing duplicates, so that shouldn’t be a concern here.

Hi Chirs,
I’ve tried to import the xml files again and again… but doesn’t work.
someone replied me said:
I tested with this file that you have attached “5148645_4.xml ” and can see that it imported around 100 posts
without any Post title. Now I believe that the export xml is corrupted hence this result. I would request you to
contact the Xanga support as they should be able to fix the export xml so that it gets imported as expected in
your WordPress.com site. Please also ask them to test the import once they confirm that the issue has been
resolved. So after that I tried to contact xanga but no reply anymore… Actually i can pay to solve this problem if i can… i just don’t know the way…

Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do if the export files are corrupt. If there aren’t too many posts being excluded from the import, you could try opening the files and extracting the content.
-
there are really so many files… as your colleague’s replied: can see that it imported around 100 posts each file, and i’ve got around 10 files doesn’t import successfully…

Unfortunately I see other users having similar issues with Xanga.
If you haven’t already, you might try exporting from Xanga again, to see if the files are still corrupt this time around.
Otherwise my best advice at this point is to contact a developer, and see if they can assist in extracting useful information from the corrupt file.
