why i can’t find the “Theme Editor” under presentation
so many people “Theme Editor” is under presentation, but i can’t find it.
did they make a mistake -
Theme editor? We don’t have a theme editor on wordpress.com. Perhaps you are thinking of the wordpress software available from wordpress.org?
-
so if i download the software, can i use it on my blog, which is host with wordpress.com
-
-
-
On adsense – that’s correct. These blogs here are all hosted by wordpress.com and we can’t have any advertsising on them https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=adsense
So to have adsense or any advertising you will need to self host blog software downloaded from http://wordpress.org on your own server or hire a web host to do that. (You can import your wordpress.com blog content into it.)
-
thx you so much, i think i will go with microsoft’s free hosting plan
or
do u know any free hosting plan
im a college student, just want to earn some money to pay off some expense -
You want to use adsense to earn money………..
Adsense wont earn you very much, certainly not enough to live on or pay off any bills (unless of course they’re very small bills!!)
-
Especially since you don’t have any blog posts or readers at all.
If you want to blog to make money, give up on that idea now. It just doesn’t work. If you want to blog to express yourself, just start typing. I see you in the forums spending so much time trying to pursue every angle other than actually blogging. Just get doing it, if this is what you want to do.
The average site set up specifically to make money from Adsense makes less than $40 per month, according to past users, and that’s when they had readers already, had an established ranking, and were posting daily.
