why I can’t transfer my blog to another user? I receveid the mail and clicked the link you send me without succes.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, but I want to transfer the blog to another person, not adding users or change user roles… maybe is impossibile they just describe the feature , but it is not allowed transfering a blog to someone else.

You cannot transfer a blog into thin air to a “person” who does not have a username account here at WordPress.com.
You can only transfer a blog to another person provided they do have a WordPress.com username account that you have added as an official user of the blog.

Of course, this person has a username account at WordPress! I need to transfer the blog to him. Anyway, I will add as user of the blog and try again.

You cannot transfer a blog into thin air to a “person” who does not have a username account here at WordPress.com.
Actually you can transfer a blog to “thin air” – the software does not really check much – we have had a few spelling errors come through the forum – so unless they have added extra checking in the last few months “thin air and an account that does not exist is possible” – The good news on “thin air” is the staff can retrieve the blog for the owner

Yes Really!! – I have flagged two or three threads for staff help on this one over the last year or so.
I did ask the staff about it at one point and they said yes you can do it – that is why I make such a big deal on spelling when helping someone transfer a blog – you also don’t need to be anything on a blog to have it transferred to you
Ask raincoaster how she got this blog – just showed up on her My Blogs page one day!

The instructions for transferring a blog to another user are below:

To auxclass and timethief, a user has to be an admin user on a blog in order to transfer upgrades to them. Because so many blogs do have upgrades, it’s a good thing to suggest in general. It makes things a lot easier and quicker for everyone. And after all, if someone wants to transfer a blog to a new user, I think it makes sense that they would already have that user listed as an admin on the blog.

I did the right procedure from the beginning, but only after two days WordPress decided to transfer the blog. Maybe for technical reasons. Anyway, thanks a lot!
