Why I didn't receive a domain cancellation email?

    I need to cancel my domain name purchase. Although I clicked on the cancellation button on My Upgrades I didn’t receive any email with a link to finalize the cancelation process.

    Hi there,

    After looking into your account, I found that your domain was canceled on March 9th, 2014. Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.

    The domain will now get sent back to the registrar.

    The registrar will decide when to release it back to the open market, which is not guaranteed, but which usually happens within a few weeks.
