why I don't get a message when I have a new follower?

  I just saw I have 3 followers, but I didn’t get any email message .

  Can you check this?

  They changed the notification thing a few months ago – the staff cited privacy issues – but as you have seen you can still see your subscribers in the stats section

  I checked setting and it seems they should have send a notify.
  Thank you very much for clearing this to me.
  I was wondering if this is my understanding or a defult which I
  wasn’t aware to it.
  In any case I was really glad to see 3 followers in my first post.
